• Floating Drawdown Threshold — Tighter Than Daily Limit [Warning]: On Instant Funding accounts, the 1.5% Floating Drawdown Threshold acts as an intraday auto-close trigger. It is listed separately from the daily drawdown on the Instant Funding plans page but not explained in the main pricing widget tooltip. The 'Floating Drawdown Threshold: 1.5%' appears in the full product spec, but the tooltip simply says '1.5%' without context.
• Scaling: 50 Trade Minimum + Single Trade Cap [Warning]: To qualify for the 90-day scaling review, traders must: (1) complete a minimum of 50 closed trades during the 90-day cycle, and (2) ensure no single trade accounts for more than 7.5% of total cycle profits. These requirements are listed at the bottom of the scaling plan article but not shown in the main scaling marketing pages.
• Daily Drawdown Reset at 17:00 NY Time — Floating Losses Count: The daily drawdown limit is calculated from the account balance at the previous 17:00 New York reset time. Both closed trades AND floating (unrealised open losses) count toward the limit. This means a trader with large open positions approaching the daily limit cannot simply 'not close' to avoid the breach — open losses already count.
• Pro Downgrade Mechanism (Not Closure): If a Finotive Pro account holder violates Pro-specific consistency rules (fails to diversify, doesn't meet weekly activity requirements, or misses quarterly profit targets), the account is downgraded to a Standard funded account — not closed. The trader continues trading with Standard rules and split instead of losing the account entirely.
