Hidden Rules & Critical Conditions
- Lock Upon Payout (LUP) — Drawdown Locks Forever [Critical]: Applies to 1-Step Flash, 1-Step Nova, and Instant Funding. When a trader requests their first payout, the trailing drawdown permanently locks at the initial starting balance. Example: Flash account starts at $100K with 7% trailing DD (floor at $93K). After growing to $110K and requesting payout, the floor permanently locks at $100K. Even if the account later grows to $200K, the hard breach remains at $100K starting balance — the trailing headroom of $7K is frozen and never adjusts upward again.
- EA Banned on Funded Accounts [Warning]: Expert Advisors (EAs) are allowed during all challenge evaluation phases. However, once a trader is funded, EAs are completely banned across all account types (Flash, Plus, Nova, Instant). Using an EA on a funded account is a prohibited trading violation and may result in account termination and forfeiture of profits.
- 3% Daily Profit Cap on 1-Step Flash Funded [Warning]: On funded 1-Step Flash accounts, once a trader reaches 3% profit in a single trading day, trading is automatically paused for the remainder of that day and any excess profits above 3% are permanently voided. This is explicitly not a breach, but profits beyond the cap are not credited.
- Equity Shield — Hidden Intraday Open-Loss Limit [Warning]: Applies to Flash, Plus, and Nova accounts. The Equity Shield auto-closes all open positions if intraday open (unrealized) losses reach 2% for any single symbol or 2.5% combined across all open positions. This is separate from and in addition to the 4%/3% daily loss hard limit. For the Flash account with 4% daily limit, the Equity Shield can trigger an auto-close at just 2% open loss — half the stated daily limit.
- 50% Consistency Rule in 2-Step PRO (Legacy) [Warning]: The legacy 2-Step Pro accounts (purchased before the Plus rebrand) carried a 50% consistency rule: no single day's profit could exceed 50% of the total profit target. The current 2-Step Plus removed this. Traders on old Pro accounts are still subject to this rule.
- Minimum 2% Payout Threshold: All accounts require a minimum payout of 2% of the initial starting balance. For a $50,000 account, the minimum payout request is $1,000. For a $200,000 account, it is $4,000. Traders cannot withdraw smaller amounts even if they have earned them.
